McALPINE MEDIA was commissioned by up and coming singer songwriter, Pauline Alexander to produce a video for “Dear Sister” a track from her acclaimed debut album “Thoughts for the Masses”.

The video was filmed, directed and produced by Jo McAlpine of McALPINE MEDIA.  Footage was filmed on location in Argyll, Scotland.

Last month saw the launch of a brand new website for the Kilbryde Hospice.  The McAlpine Partnership were commissioned to design and build the website with integrated content management throughout.  When complete the site will have over 60 pages of information and news as well as lots of innovative fundraising initiatives & events.


2012 will be a landmark year for the charity and the culmination of 10 years of fundraising as building work commences on a £2.3 million purpose-built palliative care hospice to be built in the grounds of Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride.  This will enable the charity to expand their services and offer specialist in-patient nursing care to the people of Lanarkshire.  So the fundraising activities will be cranked up a notch or two to meet estimated annual running costs of £1.3million.

Corrie Mains is an award winning family business run by Jim and Anne Smillie.

The Smillies met the McAlpine Partnership through our work with the Ayrshire Farmers' Market and approached us to design and produce a new website with particular emphasis on a short promotional video.  We immediately set to work with a days filming at their newly established free range state-of-the-art site near Mauchline in Ayrshire.  The video is a light hearted movie which aims to show the 5-star facilities and accommodation enjoyed by over 20,000 happy hens.



The web site Real-Free-Range-Eggs.co.uk, includes the video, shows the various Awards won since 2003 and lists where to buy the eggs throughout west central Scotland.  Corrie Mains can update the site using an integrated content management system.

Today saw the launch of VALUED.org.uk, a website designed and build by The McAlpine Partnership for Comfort Rwanda which aims to highlight the plight of women in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo and provide practical help through a range of projects and fund raising initiatives. DRC is widely recognised as the most dangerous place on earth to be a woman. The troubled region of Eastern Congo plays host to one of the worst conflicts in recent history.

The McAlpine Partnership is delighted to be appointed to re-design a new CMS enabled website for The Kilbryde Hospice. The charity is entering a new phase as it moves towards opening a new hospice building at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride to serve the people of South Lanarkshire.
