Alister Firth lives in Ayr, in South West Scotland and has been involved in photography over 25 years after gaining a degree from Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham. Self employed and using a variety of equipment from 35mm through medium format to large format his business concentrates on Press & Public relations work, commercial and industrial, travel & tourism. His clients include various PR companies, Glasgow Prestwick Airport, Ryanair, Scottish Enterprise, Ayrshire & Arran NHS Trust as well as supplying photography to local councils and Ayrshire & Arran Tourist Board.
Ever since his first published photograph in an Art Council of Great Britain book whilst at college Alister has continued to supply photographs to magazine and books as well as numerous calenders and postcards.
