Passionate about travel I have roamed many countries and photographed in many incredible places - my minds eye however always takes me back to Scotland where I continue to be ignited by the beauty and diversity of the light and the landscape.
I have taught photography for over ten years to many aspiring and talented photographers. My work brings me into contact with new photographers who continue to see the world in unique and exciting ways.
My images begin with the overwhelming connection I feel with the land.
Making images, from capture to print, is a consuming business, so I am as engrossed in the landscape I encounter and photograph as I am in the creation and interpretation of the final print.
The landscape is elusive and evocative - images create connections and depths for the viewer and the photographer - the wide landscape and the unseen detail draw me in and here are my results. |
